The beta of the Volkskrant / VK.tv videoplayer is live to start a load test. The player has some minor bugs and one more visible bug. Asynchrone Javascript doesn’t seem to load in the right order resulting in a blank page.
The player now supports full-screen and the menu is split from the player. This will make the player more stable on slower computers and connections.
The player categories are gone, or even better extended into an unlimited amount by using tags. For example all pop video’s.
Because the database is rich, but small (600- items) we included live search to make sure you can tweak the results continues. Give it a try.
EcoIron designed a Low Wattage Palette that is an alternative to black. I guess hypernarrative-white is not really a sustainable option. Should Greenpeace re-design?
