Journalism, journalism, journalism
Hi, hypernarrative is a blog by Wilbert Baan about Art, Media and Technology with a focus on interactive storytelling. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed with Google or Netvibes. I'll post a few messages a week. Thanks for visiting!
Many questions, little answers. I think this is what attracts me most about working in a news organization. Something that is changing, but doesn’t know exactly where to, or how.
Two short video fragments you should watch:
- Jeff Jarvis in a video interview with PBS Frontline, “anyone can perform an act of journalism” (video)
- I cut this short quote (video) from another video I watched last week. Michael Rosenblum is explaining things to CNN at the Radio Television News Directors Association, watch full broadcast.
Today Inge e-mailed me that newspapers debate online reader comments and Wired wrote about how web mashups turns citizens into washington’s newest watchdogs.
In short, we end up with: Who has to put what, how, when and where and how to continue the story from there.
