Mediatube a mashup of Medialandschap and YouTube
Inge recently reminded me about Last.tv. This Dutch project is around for a while. The website mashes your Last.fm playlist with YouTube videoclips.
This reminded me about something I tried a few months ago but never put online. A mashup between the map I build for Medialandschap (my graduation project) and YouTube RSS.
You can click on a place and it will search YouTube for files with this place tag. You can also add a second tag for searching. For example the latest video about dance in Rotterdam.

zouden jullie mij kunnen vertellen waarom er bij mijn filmpje op youtube en link word weergegeven naar mediatube?
Ja hoor, Mediatube haalt alle video’s van een bepaalde plek op met een bepaalde tag. Als jouw filmpje aan deze combinatie voldoet komt ook dat filmpje terug op mediatube.
Zodra iemand op het filmpje klikt springt deze door naar de pagina van YouTube waar het filmpje staat (een standaard YouTube functionaliteit) YouTube meet waar de gebruiker vandaan komt en ziet deze zgn. referrer link als een site waar de video staat. YouTube zorgt er voor dat automatisch deze link onder het filmpje komt te staan.
