1 Billion mobile phones countdown

I am still amazed by fridays message that 1 billion mobile phones were sold in 2006.

To get a better grip on how much this actually is I have build a small 2007-1-billion-mobile-phones-countdown-clock. It counts down from January first 2007. Although it uses your system clock and some dirty code I think it comes close to actual results.
