Three weeks ago we were in Paris visiting Morphosis, Continuities of the Incomplete an exposition in Centre Pompidou featuring sixteen of Morphosis current projects. On a platform of aluminium and glass you’re standing above sketches, models, videos and projections. Below your feed interviews are played with Thom Mayne talking about urban space and planning. There was this great interview in the back of a taxi. I can’t find it online. If anyone knows where to find it, let me know. I found this interview on Google video.

The exposition will end july 17th.
A while ago I started experimenting with interactivity and webcams for an installation. The movie below is a little spin-off from the thing I’m experimenting with.
The script detects color change in the top of the image. In daylight this works almost similar to motion detection. In this version the screen will display the VK.tv logo popping up next to your head.
You need a webcam and Flash version 8 to play with this toy. Flash 8 is also required to view the video.
No webcam available? Click the screen below to play a recorded version.

An interesting thought. All this video distributed as a viral used to generate advertising money for television networks.
