A behavioural study found out that our social habbits are changing due to third generation mobile phones (3G).

In the news article is this remarkable description: Piratopians: Creative outsiders who use 3G phones to make short films and other broadcasts

Piratopian. A what? Is this a Pirate plundering an Utopian world by taking footage in barbarian ways? Well I have made short films/broadcasts with a 3G phone. Am I a piratopian? I think I’ll have to get myself a parrot and wooden leg then.

Being young seems to be very hip these days. And even better, after years of saying that certain things are bad for you the public state of mind is changing. This weeks issues of both Time magazine and Wired open with articles respectively about the multitasking generation and the gaming generation.

A short edited version created from parts of the recorded material shown in the last post.

The video is recorded with a Nokia 6630 in some of the shots connected to the kite. To play the video Flash 8 is required.

Music by Moby, like it? buy it. (Moby > Feeling So Real on iTunes).

It’s not really a scientific experiment, but what happens if you connect a kite and a mobile phone with a keycord.

To play the video Flash 8 is required.

make sure a microphone is connected
